About Us

Original members, Lead Singer/Lead Guitarist Marc Parker and Bassist Chris Harrington have regrouped and are bringing Cross Cut Saw back live.

Cross Cut Saw began their musical journey as a premiere Southern Rock band in early 1992 to 2009. After they were discovered by legendary Molly Hatchet guitarist Dave Hlubek CCS was signed to independent label Branded Records out of Jacksonville FL . In 1993 CCS hit the charts in Europe with their single "Storm Warning" from their debut album Storm Warning, recorded and produced by Ron Perry, Lead singer of China Sky and Molly Hatchet. Storm Warning  remained at number 17 for 10 weeks on Europe radio. Throughout the 90s CCS toured much of the east coast and the south. In 2001 CCS relocated to Leesburg Virginia and recorded their 2nd album "One Road Home" and added in bassist Chris Harrington who spent several years with band.

Over the course of 16 years Cross Cut Saw released 4 albums. In 2006 Cross Cut Saw made the DC "A" list for local best bands in DC and Northern Virginia.  Also in 2006 the band hit the road in support of Dickey Betts and Great Southern. Later that year they were added to support David Allen Coe's 2006/7 Tour. After the David Allen Coe tour, Cross Cut Saw found themselves opening for various top national recording acts such as Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Bad Company, Charlie Daniels Band, Toby Keith, and Kenny Chesney, and then progressed as a staple headliner at many Bike Rallies throughout the east coast and Midwest.

CSS found themselves in Nashville TN in late 2007, where CCS had a brief stint on country radio with their single "Back To You" which once  again CCS found themselves supporting acts such as Kenny Chesney, and Toby Keith.

After many years of touring members of CCS decided in 2009 that it was time to give up life on the road., but now they are back and bringing their high energy rock show to a venue near you.
